Find your game

Cricket is played in every corner of Europe. Here is how to get started, wherever you live.

Four steps to the crease

  1. 1

    Find your nation

Every country below has a national board that lists its clubs, leagues and coaching programmes.

  2. 2

    Join a club

Most clubs run open nets in spring. Turn up, borrow kit and try a session before you commit.

  3. 3

    Play a season

Club leagues run from April to September, with T20 and limited-overs formats for every level.

  4. 4

    Follow the pathway

Talented players move through regional squads into national programmes and, one day, World Cup qualifying.

Ways to play

From your first net session to Saturday league cricket.

  • Club cricket

The heart of the game. Weekend league cricket from village greens to city grounds.

  • Women and girls

Dedicated sessions and leagues, growing fast across Scotland, the Netherlands and the Channel Islands.

  • Juniors

Soft-ball and hard-ball sessions for under-11s up to under-19s, run by clubs and schools.

  • Indoor and winter

Six-a-side indoor leagues keep the game going through northern European winters.
